Probably the best breakfast in Kissimmee. Huge Buffet, drinks are extra. Costs about $7 a head inc a drink (free refills on most, not on Orange Juice or Milkshakes or Beers). Eat as much as you like. Fruit, Cereal, Cooked, Pancakes, Ice Cream, Cake, Biscuits. Its got it all, really excellent value. We use it regularly. Have a large breakfast it sets you up for the day. Have a snack/sandwich in the parks at lunchtime and a proper meal again in the evening! Easy to find, drive back down Old Lake Wilson towards the 192, after the "Magic Tree Resort" the road bends to the right, take the first turning on the left and drive straight ahead, the car park is on the right just after a small crossroad. Don't go too far you will end up on the 192 again. Best time to go is probably 8am or before if you can manage it. After 9am the queue can be out the door. That's still not a problem, they have plenty of seats it just means you might have to wait 15 minutes to get to the cashier, then on to the Buffet. Busy times can be a good thing too. The food is renewed more often so its fresher but we've never found a problem with food not being fresh at breakfast in the "Ponderosa"

One final point on the "Ponderosa". Breakfast is the best! Lunch and Dinner are NOT in our opinion.

Golden Corral can be found by driving from the villa down to the 192. You need to turn left at the traffic lights. Golden Corral is about 1/2 mile along 192 on the left so when you join the 192 stay in the left hand lane then its easy to turn left! Breakfast is excellent and has improved recently and now has more choice than Ponderosa. Omelette bar where an omelette is made fresh for you with a choice of fillings. You can also get fresh fried eggs here done the way you like them (Sunny side up etc) Price is about $7 inc a drink (choose tea/coffee or coke/sprite as fruit juices are part of the buffet). Opening times for breakfast 7.00am to 11am (check this out first, some Golden Corral don't open until 7.30am) Usual rules apply, get here early to avoid the queues. 50c off per head vouchers available in many voucher books.
